Happy Tuesday, friends! I usually share a new recipe each Tuesday, but today I wanted to take a moment to talk about my cookbook that was released just a few weeks ago.
If this kind of post isn’t your thing, then feel free to skip past it and I’ll be back Thursday with a new recipe and YouTube video for you!
My first cookbook, Live Well Bake Cookies, was officially released on August 24th (almost one month ago now!). I spent most of 2020 recipe testing, photographing, and writing my book. It feels like such a weight lifted off of my shoulders for it to finally be out into the world.
The response from all of you has also been so wonderful. I can’t tell you how much it means to me to receive messages from you letting me know that you received your book or tried a recipe from it.
I also went into my local Books-A-Million and found it on the shelves, which was so exciting!
I’ve received over 40 reviews on Amazon for my cookbook so far and I’ve loved reading them!
If you ordered a copy of my book, it would mean the world to me if you took a moment to leave a review for it. Even if it’s something short and simple or a star rating, this really helps me as a first time author.
I randomly selected 8 giveaway winners who preordered my book. All of the winners were notified and their packages were shipped out.
The holidays are coming up soon so I plan to do some more fun giveaways for all of you! Each year I’ve done a big giveaway to one winner with my favorite baking tools, so I may do another one and something new.
I shared a video earlier this year showing you how to make the chocolate cutout sugar cookies from my cookbook. The recipe and instructions are in the description if you want to try them out!
My husband Josh and I have been working on more YouTube videos over the last couple of months. Here are a few of the videos I’ve shared so far:
I think that’s it! I have a new apple fritter video coming your way on Thursday and a flourless chocolate cake video coming next Tuesday. They’re both SO delicious and I’m excited to share them – so stay tuned for those recipes!
