Homemade Apple Bread Recipe

What you need:

chopped apples brown sugar ground cinnamon all-purpose flour baking powder baking soda ground nutmeg ground allspice salt butter granulated sugar eggs sour cream or greek yogurt vanilla extract whole milk

Finely chop the apples, and add them to a bowl with brown sugar and ground cinnamon. Stir to coat

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, spices, baking powder, and baking soda

In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream together the butter and sugars. Then mix in one egg at a time, followed by the sour cream and vanilla

Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture in two parts, alternating with milk. Then, gently fold in the cinnamon sugar-coated apples

Pour the batter into a lined loaf pan. Drizzle melted butter over the batter, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, and bake for about 1 hour

Allow the bread to cool completely before slicing and serving
